Nath Alabastark was a worshiper of Selûne and an apprentice member of the Swords of the Lady under his mentor Serah Openskies. They were charged with routing out the church of Shar at any turn. A man calling himself Kane the Fool Bard informed Serah and her band of a supposed Sharran safehouse in Calimport. The group travelled there, where they found and killed the Sharrans inside, including Handler Aryll. Kane arrived on the scene too late to save his fellow members and unleashed the Venom Plague which Selûne protected against as it was a disease of the blood. Serah and Nath subdued Kane and then executed him after 4 of their allies succumbed to the plague.
Nath and Serah then stood trial for the crimes commited in Calimport court, they openly admitted their actions and paid a fine of 11000 GP so that they would be released. There they met Silvair whom they spoke and left on amicable terms. Serah indicated that she would need to return to one of their temples to regroup after the death of her 4 comrades.[1]
